Day 1: Arrival & Rila Monastery – Sofia → Bansko

The adventure begins with a warm welcome at the airport. From there we head to Rila Monastery — one of Bulgaria’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks. In this place filled with spirituality and tranquillity you’ll soak up an atmosphere of ancient beauty. After visiting the monastery we continue to Bansko, where a comfortable hotel and a relaxed setting await to round off the day. 🍽️ Dinner at the hotel included.

Day 2: Pirin National Park – Alpine Lake at 2,240 m An thrilling enduro track through Pirin National Park awaits, with sweeping views of majestic peaks. We ride up to a high-altitude mountain lake at 2,240 metres above sea level. At the mountain hut, lunch is served with panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding summits. This is a day filled with the spirit of adventure, crisp mountain air, and the unique scenery of Bulgaria.

In the evening a true Bulgarian celebration awaits: dinner with a folklore programme, live music, traditional dancing, and local dishes.

Day 3: Rhodope Mountains – UNESCO Village & Off-Road We set out from Bansko into the Rhodope Mountains. We’ll visit a unique village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its distinctive architecture and traditional stone-roofed houses. Lunch in the village is served in a local home, featuring traditional recipes and genuine Bulgarian hospitality. Then back on the trail — riding the Rhodope backcountry through rivers, bridges, forests, and meadows, all the way back to Bansko. 🍽️ Lunch in a traditional village home + dinner at a folklore restaurant included.

Day 4: Rila National Park – Bear Sanctuary, Trout Farm & Spa In the morning we head towards Rila National Park. Our first stop is the Bear Sanctuary — a remarkable place where brown bears, once rescued from captivity, now live in their natural habitat.
