Drive your own 4×4 vehicle through the wild side of Bulgaria and discover ancient forests, hidden villages, crystal lakes, and the warm hospitality of the locals.

Day 1: Arrival in Sofia — Rila Monastery & Bansko

We begin with a warm welcome at Sofia Airport and head straight to one of Bulgaria’s spiritual gems — the Rila Monastery, a UNESCO site surrounded by mountain serenity. After exploring its historic walls, we continue to the alpine town of Bansko for hotel check-in and a traditional dinner to start our cultural immersion.

Day 2: Rila National Park — Bear Sanctuary, Fishing & Spa

This morning we head into Rila National Park. Our first stop is a unique sanctuary where rescued brown bears live freely. Then we visit a trout farm, where you can catch your own fish for lunch. The day ends with well-deserved relaxation at a mountain spa: pools, saunas, and wellness treatments.

Day 3: Into the Rhodope Mountains — Forests & Folklore

We take the off-road route into the mysterious Rhodope Mountains, known for their ancient legends and untamed beauty. Along the way, we enjoy a picnic in the woods and listen to local stories. In the evening, we settle into a traditional Rhodope village, welcomed by authentic food and local hospitality.

Day 4: Lake Day — Swimming, Fishing & Caves

After a night in the mountains, we continue through hidden trails to a peaceful lake — the perfect place to relax, swim, fish, and enjoy a slow lunch by the water. In the afternoon, we visit one of Bulgaria’s most impressive cave systems with majestic halls, stalactites, and mystical energy. We dine and sleep at the lake for a magical end to the day.

Day 5: Return to Civilization — Spa & Folklore Celebration

We begin our return journey, driving through scenic mountain passes with breathtaking views. Along the way, we stop at a luxury spa complex to unwind in thermal pools, saunas, and jacuzzis. In the evening, we celebrate the final night with a festive Bulgarian folklore dinner — with music, dancing, and regional cuisine.

Day 6: Sofia Walk & Departure

Our final day brings us to the capital, Sofia. We enjoy a relaxed city walk past historic sites, churches, cozy cafés, and wide boulevards. You’ll also have free time for shopping or grabbing souvenirs. Later, we transfer you to the airport — your heart full of adventure, culture, and mountain air.
